By creating an account or using CitateVerifier, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
CitateVerifier is a deterministic legal citation verification tool that checks case citations in briefs against indexed federal and state court records. It does not provide legal advice.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
New accounts receive 10 complimentary credits. Additional credits may be purchased. Credits are non-refundable except as required by law. One credit is consumed per document verification.
You may not use CitateVerifier to process confidential documents in violation of applicable professional rules, or for any unlawful purpose. Automated bulk submissions require a separate agreement.
CitateVerifier and its underlying source component database are the proprietary property of Evidite, Inc. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the service.
The service is provided "as is." Evidite makes no warranty that verification results are complete or error-free. Always confirm citations independently before filing.
Evidite's liability to you for any claim arising from use of CitateVerifier is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
